Anyone do flank steak sous vide?

Likely not even that long, but perhaps that extra time would be nice to render down the fat

there isn't much fat though in a flank steak really at all- i was just saying that long because it is a larger chunk of meat and this would get it cooked more uniformed... you couldn't overcook it- it would just get almost too tender

I figure my water comes out at about 130 anyway, why stress the heater in the machine? I start with hot water and let the anova fine tune it


I'm attempting some cheap ass steaks from jewel right now.

I added hot water first. I figured I'd give it the bump to get it going.
