Qdoba vs Chipolte

I had to pickup my new glasses today, and Qdoba was right next door, so I went it. Its been a very long while since I had Qdoba.

At the end of my meal, I find myself wishing I went to Chipotle instead.

I feel as if I have paid more for less, and gotten ingredients that while not bad, just aren't as tasty.

The only place i've ever been to that I thought legitimately was superior to chipotle is Cafe Rio in Las Vegas. It makes Chipotle taste like Taco Bell when you compare the quality and taste to Cafe Rio.

Glad to see my opinion seems to be the average in this case.

As for traditional Burrito's like El Famous and such? I never really liked them. Too mushy. Much prefer the style Chipotle's made in, even if its not traditional.

Chipotle vs Qdoba is one thing, but please, do not start comparing Chipotle to actual Mexican restaurants.

Chipotle is nothing more than Americanized Mexican food. Their food is lacking in flavor compared to the real thing. I stopped at Buenos Nachos in Frankfort when I was in town and couldn't get enough of that real Mexican flavor. Because it was out of season, the landscapers that usually inhabit the place weren't around but everything else was the same as three years ago. Small place, cramped, the bathroom smells, food is awesome. Loved it.

I've never had any irregular shits when eating chipotle. It's rice, beans, corn, tomato, onion, and meat. Pretty basic. I wonder what ingredient they have gives people the hershey squirts.

Tastes the same to me. I hardly eat at any of those places except once in a while. I always get the steak barrito and at both places, they taste the same.
