These are apparently a "limited edition" style item on the menu. Saw a commercial for them yesterday, wanted to try them today, so I did.
I purchased two at the price of something like 2 bucks a piece
On the ouside, they are slightly "off round" and a bit thicker than your average DD donut. Glazing on the outside as well.
The first donut I tried basically tasted like a thicker normal glazed donut. Very flavorful tho and the extra thickness was welcome
naughty. The second donut, however, was the money shot. I got a taste of croissant with each bite and the two different tastes really complimented each other.
No pics, sorry. But when you bite in, the inside just looks heftier.
Would I get them again? Despite the cost, I most definitely would. Very tasty, very filling.
I also got an orange juice. So that I stayed healthy.
