Thoughts, I’ve been looking at a dual sport bike for a couple years, I’ve had older dual sport bikes and crotch rockets, I want something capable for my 1-2 times a year I’ll off road it but fast enough to be fun

Beta 300rr. What could be cooler than a 300cc street-legal 2-smoke?
I want one, but I'm having a hard time blowing $9500 on something I'm going to beat up in the woods.
Where’s a good place to check out the Ktm?
More maintenance friendly but quite a bit heavier. If you are going to do more street or railroad grade they would be a better choice. Tighter twisty trails you are better off with the 450/500How about the ktm 690 husky 701, I was hoping to go check some bikes out this week but got called out to work last night and tonight so maybe next week, there’s a place in Springfield that sells gas gas, husky, ktm and some other stuff I may check out, I have been watching reviews non stop on all of them seems like the bigger bikes are more maintenance friendly with 6000 mile oil changes rather than 15 hour like the 500 or 600 mile like the 450l

I did a little research on the 450l and it looks like a great unit. Honda has really raised the bar on their MX line up in the last couple years. Price seems pretty decent. If I were to ever buy a dual sport it would be the L but that's not say much. I'm a huge Honda swinger.
It’s going to be mostly street to be honest, I just want to ability to off-road with it so it’s more versatile
Maintenance on the 500 is not that bad. Oil changes are easy. The 500 is a true dirt bike with a plate. The 690/701 is more suited for street/light off road.
