need sticky accufab throttle body help!!!

hey guys i have a oval accufab throttle body and the dam thing is sticking everytime you come out of the throttle........so more or less its sticking closed......so when you slow down in 1,2,3,4,5,6 then you give a little gas it almost knocks my head off lol it jerks and sticks so hard!!! any1 have this problem and what should i do? thanks

is it dirty? usually when a throttle body gets dirty it will stuck like that.

i just took it off and re adjusted it and still stickin...even sanded it a bid all over...im gonna try to open it a touch with the set screw and turn the idle down through the programmer.we will see what happens

I have seen on Modular Fords an issue with certain accufab TB's. Ed from RWTD I think made something simple to fix it... it's not related to RWTD, but he works for James.

Running With The Devil.

Take the unit off. Then clean it well with throttle body cleaner and rags. Inside and out. Clean the shaft and bushings well. Then use some WD40 on the shaft and bushings (inside and out) while opening and closing the throttle valve. The clean the excess off. It should work like new.

sounds good......But the problem has been since it was new....just took me 2 yrs to drive me nuts enought to take that litte f&^%$r off and make it right lol....i should call accufab and bith up a storm maybe ill get a replacment!!. im sure i wouldnt be the first to call...worth the call to see what they have to say
