Will 2003 gt taillights fit a cobra?

I need your help guys.
I sold 2 taillights off my 2003 cobra that im stripping on ebay to a guy.
He says they will not fit his 2003 cobra.
They came off my 2003 cobra.
were there any differences between the cobra and gt taillights as he is claiming that they are different and they wont fit.
Pictures would be helpful thanks guys..

COBRA in 99-01 are different harness forsure. 03-04 GT vs Cobra may have a different harness as well. I think the light housings 99-04 are all the same its the hraness that is different. Maybe someone else knows 100%

I thought 03-04 GT and cobra taillights were the same.
But since my knowledge is strictly fox bodies i figured i better ask.

I'm not a light or interchange expert by any-means but they look the same and might be but if there is a issue (as your buyer says) its the Harness and connectors imo.

im 99% sure theyre the same, in my estimating database at the shop i work at they only show 2 tail lamps - amber and non-amber

i m guessing the problem is that his 03 taillights have the amber corners
my 03 taillights are red in the corners. thats why hes saying they are for a gt.
but ive seen other cobras without amber corners i believe..??...
have to look around i guess and see if some have ambers and some dont or ??

99 and 01 cobras were the only ones with amber turn signals. 03 and 04 cobra had the same lights as the 99-04 GT's

the harness in 99-01 cobras are different to accommodate the amber blinker

yeah theyll definately fit, theyre all the same i only said 99% sure because i didnt know about the harness. i do know that the amber tail lamps are about twice as much as regular (all red) lights, maybe he thought he was getting amber ones???

He prolly looked at your picture you posted and seen what alot of other guys think they are seeing .. "amber" but its only from the flash that it looks simular to amber tails.

25-45.00 for a set of Reds is decent price imo. Used Ambers sell for 150- 275 used on ebay. They are by far the hardest to come by. I have a few sets of 99 -01 Ambers but it took me months to buy singles here and there. lol!

Dont see how he could win a PayPal dispute against you unless you had a 99-01 cobra tails listed. The guy is prolly a dumb ass imo. Hoping to get ambers for 35:laughing2

is he from another country,
I know some of the export models had the ambers across the lineup
they all should fit, it's just the harness on 99-01 cobras is slightly different than the others
