Switching to Clear headlights(fitment question)

Going to be selling my stock headlights and getting a set of clear headlights from www.americanmuscle.com

Do I have to worry about them fitting loose?

I heard they fit fine. Its the seal that sucks and will eventually will get water in the headlight. alot of guys take the rubber seal off their stock ones and put it on the new ones.

I plan on sealing it with silicone. The rubber that meets up the the fender is what im worried about.

i think thats the seal everyone says is crap and they some how use the original one. not 100% on that though.

My driverside aftermarket lens fits like shit too...

Although my GF did get the black housing headlights from American Muscle and they fit fine.

i got the clear ones from there and they are good and tight but the passenger side has a small gap at the very point on the fender. it drives me nuts that it doesnt seal up there

maybe I'm confused cause when you say clear I'm thinking of the clear ones that come on a pre 00' GT's and Cobra. If your talking about the ones that ITLOWNU has those are the ones my GF has and they fit just fine.

yeah the 99s and 00s had chrome inserts then came the black ones but they all had amber reflecters on the corners. the quality of theses lights is great except for that one seal:cussing::cussing:

I had them on my 03 and they fit perfect. I would have thrown them in the garbage if they didn't fit 100% like stock.
