uhhhhhhh.......i have a problem

my low oil light keeps on popping on and off now its been like 3-4 months since it last happen but recently its been doing it again. 3-4 months ago i i had a bad drain plug that was leaking oil i replaced that now and the light never popped on ever till now. i checked my oil its jsut below the max mark , what can be the problem now? please somebody help me out with this
