Power Steering Problem

Ok so I drove my car on wen and everything ran perfect.

I went to the garage today and pulled the car out to work on my girlfriends car and I noticed a huge puddle of red oil on the ground in the front of the car. I popped the hood and noticed that there was steering fluid all over the top of the resivior??? The fluid level still says full.

?????

2003 gt 4.6 50000 miles and never had a problem with it before

What could it be

Did you check the boots of the steering rack to make sure they aren't swelled up? It could be a blown seal in the rack that is sucking air into the system and then it burps out through the cap.

Yea weird. I'm driving to sutton ford tom about 160 miles round trip. We will see what happens then. I don't understand how the shit got in my floor??
