I agree, my motor is completely stock, but I have a blower sitting on top of it. Basically a blower/turbo is a bolt-on. The point of the article is that the block is built to handle power. I wish my block could handle that type of power.

I do not think anybody is debating the fact that the LS1 is one bad ass motor. Someone posted a vid of a twin turbo GT 500, nobody was trying to compare Fords to GM's. Get a life toolbox and stop turning everything into a damn debate.

I do not think anybody is debating the fact that the LS1 is one bad ass motor. Someone posted a vid of a twin turbo GT 500, nobody was trying to compare Fords to GM's. Get a life toolbox and stop turning everything into a damn debate.

actually i think a car running 10's N/A on a stock motor is more impressive than that twin turbo hand grenade....

i mean that car is one out of a million... no other GT500 is going to put down those #'s. its comparible to that Ranger guy driving a bone stock C6Z06 10.90's and with just a DR running 10.80's... sure it has been done, but it was a special circumstance
