had mine replaced about 6 months ago. it's a safety issue so it is always warrantied. they had to order a new seatbelt assembly and I didn't pay anything.

slightly off subject but...

my 94 f150 has an airbag light flashing which means its inactive right now but its never been in a wreck. does this mean i can take it to a dealer and they have to fix it for free?

no

you would need to call a ford dealer with your vin number and talk to a service writer....yes dlrs do extended warranties on restraint systems past the normal 3yr/36,000 or w/e your vehicle came with, but not for a indefinate length, Honda is the only company with a lifetime seatbelt waranty i think.....Call a dealer, give them your vin, see whats up
