Hmm. Goes against everything I was taught to believe.

Although, the previous owner of my Cobra broke it in hard and it dynoed 398 rwhp with just an air filter. The car always feels strong and doesn't use a drop of oil.

I broke in my 99 GT with traditional methods and I only managed to run a best of 14.2 @ 99 with it stock. Never had it dynoed though.

Maybe there is some truth to this new break in method.
