anyone know anything about balanceing an engine...

i got a print out of my engine balanced from JLP and i dont know how to read it or what any of it means. he said it was really good and that it would be hard to get it that close through someone else.

the sheet says something along the lines of RPM is 0.18

its all greek to me.

When the engine is balanced they are talking about the whole lower rotating assembly. Everything is weighed and matched to each other. The rods and pins are weighed and ground down to match the weight of the lightest rod and pin within a couple of grams. Then the same is done to the pistons and rings. The crank is spun on a machine to check its balance like getting your driveshaft balanced. A balanced engine means longer life and better high rpm stability.
