It's purposely set up like that. The MH3 gearing puts the 1-2 shift around 68 MPH if I remember right at redline. 0-60 in first gear alone on the stock trans/gears.Wow thats nuts. It seemed to have a realatively long first gear too. And no second.
let me guess u test drove a ZR1?
test drive not necessary. every single prelim report on the zr1 talked about the gearing and how you didn't have to shift out of 1st to hit 60. every single mag report, online report, user report talked about the gearing in the trans and the long 1st gear.
unless you have been completely oblivious to whats going on with the zr1 for the last 3 years when the first rumors started, you should know about that.
even i know that
and i don't know crap about vettes, nor do i like em.
if those are stock rears, its a 20 inch nitto
In the video it says 19" NT05R's and those are not stock wheels. They look to be Forgestar F14's and I'm guess the owners went with 19"s all around.

Build thread for the car, doesn't look like it's that wild of a build or anything
i don't know what the stock pulley size is. dropping down to that one was probably a good bit of extra boost
