You don't need to get too creative with the ad copy when your chief export has the driving excitement of a Pow Pow Power Wheels.

Clearly those that are going to buy are going to buy regardless of the ad.

True, but no one I know is looking for a 11K-14K brand new EcoBox.

Plenty of people buy new cheap econo cars. They have a warranty, get awesome mpgs and usually have decent resale value. Or you can rack up a shit ton of miles and throw it away.

Plus with the prices of used cars going up I bet they look more attractive to buy for both consumers and lenders.

I agree, but the point I was making was that I was someone that found the ad interesting/amusing as a car enthusiast, but myself, nor no one I even know is currently in that market.

I'm curious how non-car people will take it.
