Here is the deal. I had Alpine s-series speakers installed in my 96 cobra. All to fit in stock speaker locations. My goal was just better sound quality...Dont need to bump all over town. I have a alpine head unit and a Kenwood amp. Can anyone tll me why my speakers ave a crackling sound??? I have never gone balls out or cranked it all the way up yet cause this sound just sucks...What do I need to adjust??? Also I currently am not running a sub.
make sure you eliminate any ground loop issues by grounding/powering everything from common points, aside from factory wiring being just barely adequate for OEM you may also want to throw a power filter into the HU supply
