Which Jacket?

I'm looking at new jackets to get and have narrowed it down to two jackets from Alpinestar

first jacket is http://www.motostrano.com/dragster.html
has the classic old style look and i think it would go well with my bike in the looks department.

second jacket is http://www.motostrano.com/nycjacket.html
cleaner look that hugs the body more like a sport riding jacket does. plan jane looking that will go with anything.

i wont get it from that site as i can get them from bikebandit.com for a few dollars cheaper for the next few days as they are having a tax return sale. both jackets are within in a few dollars of each other so its not like price makes or breaks which one to get.

what you all think?

I like the first one personally. Looks like a little better protection too. Can't really tell without wearing it. Second one looks like it gives some better neck protection.

A Women's perspective is always good when it comes to styling.

Yeah the is two things I could see on the plus side for the 1st one with function was it seems like it offers a thicker/warmer removable thermal vest. It also seems like it would be easierto get away with wearing it out to the bar on colder nights and not having people gawk at some one wearing a bike jacket going out somewhere. Otherwise from everything I read they both offer the same protection and zipper to attach to pants.

I did end up going with the first jacket from bikebandit.com and got it on sale at 50% off msrp price and also picked up these pants at 50% off http://www.bikebandit.com/tour-master-decker-leather-motorcycle-pants
My only concern is the pants are probably gonna be on the long side and that the zippers from the pants and jacket aren't gonna be the same since they are two different companies. Worst case I get one of them tailored with a new zipper from my aunt since she does that line of work.
