well there goes the trans

My luck this year hasn't ben the best...sitting on the side of the road with a broken transmission or so I am assuming. Was doing wot tuning and at about 6000 the power gave way and the car will not go into gear now. There is a whining noise when the car is on. I figure it must be the trans if the motor is running and idleing fine. Thinking either the torque converter gave way or the input shaft. The whining makes me think TC though. Rough luck...just gotta laugh about it though

youve got an aftermarket input shaft- so id assume tc... just cuz you rarely hear of input shafts going- whereas tcs are more common. sorry to hear man.

Thanks...got the car towed to a auto trans shop near by. Looks like it might be time to bite it and get a auto loan
