doing a tune-up, and needs soem troubleshooting

I'm doing a tune-up on a 04 tiburon GT and Hyundai is an idiot for burying 3 of the plugs under the upper intake

Anyway, there is a slight hesitation on cold start and sometimes warm ones. When turning it over it'll crank twice then stutter then crank 2 more time an start on the last turn. Got any ideas what it could be?

47k, its the original plugs and wires. i'm changing out the plugs and wires but seafoam it before i do.

by stutter do you mean the starter stops turning/cranking? From how Im reading this it sounds like the starter is beginning to fail.
It might be plug related if it idles rough and hesitates under acceleration. Doubt its the plugs. Cars are made now to run to 75000+ on factory plugs (no mods, left stock).
The other thing you may want to look at would be the ignition switch.

sort of, yea. but it's not all the time. Its like it turns, misses a turn, then turns again and fires up.

I haven't noticed a hesitation in the idle or driving but the front 3 plugs looked foul a bit. So i'm just replacing them and the wires.

From what your saying I really would look into the starter. Those are the signs of it going. Can't hurt to change plugs, but don't think it was ur problem.
