Yep, 30k just turned over today. Pads ran all the way down until one side was grinding... no warning or squeaking or anything.

That's how the cobalt was. I need to tear into the Malibu. Not having a garage sucks.

Painted the new calipers, brackets, and hats on the Rotors with black caliper paint. Sprayed the existing brake line fittings and all the rusty bolts with PB Blaster in preparation for the new brakes. Next week all new rear brake time.

Installed the WB yesterday and ran boost gauge wire. Just need to rewire FP and get an AFC before letting TG go to work on the tune.

Havent done it yet, but had the car handwashed at the Village Car Wash in Fox Lake weekend before last. The guy drying the car must have used sandpaper on the rear deck lid, spoiler and hood. There are the most awful wipe marks all over the place. I noticed it the next day under the lights at the gas station. I about lost my mind. So now I have to take it back there and show the owner to see if they will fix it. Im tempted to get some M105 and just do it myself at the house with my PC. I know I can make it perfect, but I just dont have the time and energy to buff out the whole car again. Sucks man. But that will be next no matter who does it.

After that I may pull the GT500 mufflers and put on the magnaflow muffler deletes for more noise.

This is why I only wash my car myself. They drop those towels on the ground and keep using them. They also use them on the wheels and then on your paint.

Yeah I normally do. But since it got cold and Im lazier than ever, I took the easy way out. Now Im going to pay for it in time and energy. Plus my pads are all old and tired, and I need to hit up autogeek.net for new ones for added cost. DOH. Oh and the M105 will cost me $30 from advanced auto too. I have M205, but its not going to work in this case.

lol.. no the smell of no cats and driving my car every day 50 miles a day gets annoying. They are aftermarket cats anyhow so in 6 months they will start to rattle and I'll hollow them out.
