Help finding a Snell approved helmet

I was told I could find one for under $100. But the only thing that ever comes up in my searches is motorcycle helmets. I'd like to purchase one before May 1, and all the Snell helmets on Summit won't ship until 5/17 (don't know why). Does that fact that it's a motorcycle helmet make any difference?

Go to the motorcycle store right on 47 near my house. Not HD, but I think maybe Yamaha? In any case, go there. Problem solved. They'll even fit you first.

There is a difference in the ratings but snell-rated motorcycle helmets are approved by the tracks I've ran at, including Route 66, which adhere to NHRA rules very closely. Mine is a bike helmet.

Yes it makes a difference. It's not approved for automotive use (snell)

I do actually want to be safe, but I just don't think I have to spend $300-600 on a helmet to be safe. Some of those on that website range up to $800!
