Since we have a lotta new faces here, I wanted to bump the old thread for them, but frankly there was so much OT and ethugging going on in that thread it wasnt even worth it, so I'm making a new thread, and I grabbed the posts from the people that actually used the thread as it was intended, and I'm moving them into this thread so they dont have to relist everything.

Intake Manifold tuning valve (pretty cool technology to add more low end TQ when separating the two intake plenum sides via a tuning valve at certain rpms)
And a NX wet kit with purge plumbed out the front grille

Sucks when there is no aftermarket for your car, but that makes me more unique, or slower...

good for a XX.5 @ 99.98 mph.

Stock with the exception of license plate covers. Did not like the ones saying Rosen Hyundai on them so bought some cheap black plastic ones for $4 each. Might get a less flimsy shifter knob soon, the rubberized plastic one tends to feel bendy.

No REAL mods to it. Might try and make the handling a little better, but no big paychecks till summer at this rate.

Speaking of which...would lowering the car by a little seem ricey, unnecessary, dumb, or not too bad of an idea?

2001 PT Cruiser Mods:
Had Hedman Header (before it rotted out and started leaking fumes into the cabin and getting me high every time i used vent on the climate controls)

Full 2.5inch cat-back system (stock one was 2.25), Used to have no mufflers, then thought of selling it, put a muffler back on.

Cut a wire to have firmer WOT shifts ( stock would cut fuel and timing at redline making the trade mark "burping" noise, now it kicks like a mule compared to what it was)

AiRaid CAI, TB spacer, Screamin Demon Coil wires and Plugs
JVC HD Radio head unit with Sony MTX speakers all around.
Just put AmsOil in it with a AmsOil filter

Cut the exhaust off right be for the cat, so there is no exhaust pretty much.

Electric Radiator fan with ON/Off switch
New MotorCraft Plugs

Car Cover to keep pine needles from messing up my sweet 80's bi-wing aero package.

Next moves will be removing the rotted tinting, make the engine breath deeper, add an exhaust system, and make the power locks work.
