strip the body off the chassis and drop the wagon on it, connect the steering shaft, heater core and call it a day

or find a motor/trans and get everything to work in the wagon as a 2wd

yeah i know...the styling/aerodynamics of a dishwasher, but i've hauled 1000lbs of iron in it and it's a low mile Socal car with no rust...all im interested in is the body, fuck the toyota driveline

oh it would be easier to slap some wires together weld up the steering shaft and weld the body tot he s10 chassis with a bunch of angle clips...but i think i've found a good score on a 96 vortec 4.3L which would let me use my sbc pattern 700r4

but it sounds like a complete 4.3 harness and alll the oil cooler lines and stuff. need to find out if it's an LF6 or an older L35

kinda wierd he responded with this: I am in cary. I don't want to give it away but i want it out of my way. Make an offer it was supposed to go in my 69 chevy truck but i got a 327 instead

meybe i'll see if i can score it for cheeper than i can get the SI L67 parts and fwd bell 4l60e/700r4
