you dont know your shit. the rb26 motor makes 276. they were limited by jap law back in the day. however, like ls1's they tend to be underrated and made closer to 300+. slow as an 80s corvette? the r32 gtr (made IN the late 80s early 90s) could knock off low 13 1/4 mile times while the heavier brothers (r33 and r34) were mid to high 13s but with simple boltons were obviously faster.
