The place that does V-8 swaps into Fiero's just completed one with the G6 6-speed transaxle and an LS7 Vette engine. It is a Fiero GT chopped 3" with a custom front-end and the Fiero IMSA widebody kit, 12" Corvette brakes and a custom interior. If I recall correctly the headlights are from an Acura NSX.

LS7 = Peak output is 505 hp at 6300 rpm and 470 lb·ft at 4800 rpm with a 7000 rpm redline.

I have no idea on the total amount spent, But here are some prices that I know:

The LS7 is about $14K just for the engine.

Engine controller and harness is $1200
Remote oiling system is $1400

The 6-speeds run around $6K new.
The Corvette Brake kit is $3K
The IMSA Body is $5500
Chopping the top is $5K

So far that's about $30K.

The Ferrari Mirrors, NSX headlights, Lambo Orange paint job, scissor door kit, wheels, interior, and the numerous hours of custom work is unknown.

Don't know yet. They only started doing the 6-spd swaps recently.
But my 20+ year old stock 4-spd has been holding up the 355hp/405 torque of my V-8 since 2004. The 6-spd is suppose to be a stronger transaxle than my 4-spd.

i remember seeing this build awhile back. if i remember right they had to cryo harden all the gears.
