Want to make an intake for a 5.7 hemi. Pics

Any suggestions on making an intake like the above pictures? What parts/method should be used?

I would like to do a home depot intake rather than a vato zone premade K&N tube.

I'm assuming you mean the piping and not the shitty looking manifold cover? You just need to buy the right sized coupler for the TB, a 90* bend and some piping to get over to where the air box is placed. Also you need to drill a hole and buy a grommet for the Sensor that is right after the filter. It probably wont be that hard, my brother and i got my Dad a K&N system for his 300C because we got a good deal on it.

So that first pic, the on with the predator cover. If you start leaking some sort of fluid from that car are you obligated to say "if it bleeds we can kill it" ?

I know you said no Autozone K&N pre-maid intakes but, Autozone has intake tubes, that are, rather cheap, and you can bend them and twist them to your liking, plus they sell cheap air filters too
