its actually fairly close to that color, its sitting under half a floresent fixture, so it doesn't show that its a 'matt' or almost 'wrinkle' paintjob.

This time through, I'm trying to make everything look fairly 'clean' so I'm going to replace all the wire looms (with OEM black ones, not ricer shit), and all the coolant hoses and vac lines. The motor is going to have new just about everything (valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, dizzy cap and rotor, plugs, wires, crank pulley, crank seal, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few more things.)

First spray down with WD-40 and wipe clean to a shine, they'll look like new. You'll be surprised.
