Drag Radial class goes 6s!

well 09 is the year for fast cars i guess. most of you probably dont follow NMRA/NMCA class stuff but the drag radial class is straight flying now. everyone was battling for 7.1 at 19? last year. 2 people have just broken into the 6s this year, on a TRUE DRAG RADIAL. thats fuckn retarded.

dave hance broke the 6s first but hurt the motor.

kevin fiscus just went 6.94 at 216mph with a 1.12 60ft and backed it up with a 6.96 at 215 with a 1.227 60ft. thats fucking nuts. cars are limited to SBF, no wheelie bars, and depending on motor, allowed to be a certian minimum weight. usually like 3300. beleive fiscus is on twin 88s.

i used to follow NMRA, when i lived in new lenox my buddies dad was in the renegade class, ive since lost contact with him since i moved to bwood about 8 yrs ago, but heres an article about his car, i was there when this thing was almost bone stock, shes come a long way

thats bob cook. he drives the car for Sutton HP now in the renegade class. very good driver. i know they clinched 1,2 or 3 spots in the class for 2008. sick car they have. i believe he still has that teal hatch too.

he should still have that hatch, i havent talked to him in about 2-3 yrs, last i heard back in about 2005, he was 2nd in the nation in points, and yea that guy can fuckin drive
