Honda FCX Clarity?

did any of you guys see this yet, just went to the honda website.

looks like they are coming out with fuel cells running off hydrogen and electricity. supoosibly they are begining testing in california in summer 2008.

There have been commercials on TV for them, they are for sale already in SoCal IIRC

yeah you can lease them(and only lease) for $600 per month....but only in SOCAL where they have hydrogen pumps.

All of these are hand built and cost $1 million each. It's kind of like a large scale beta test for Honda's hydrogen fuel cell -- Chevrolet will soon have a similar experiment with a hydrogen-powered Equinox. Hydrogen refueling stations are in short supply, and the most are in the So Cal area, which is why they are limiting sales to that region.

to my understanding the $600 a month INCLUDES insurance, so its not even that bad of a deal for something as pioneering as this.
