Default Top Speed Testing at 3-Mile Space Shuttle Airstrip

Totally went down a rabbit hole watching these vids. Goofy stuff like a Ram work truck or Raptor, plus motorcycles, Hellcats, Senna, and a bunch of others. They use the 3-mile long Shuttle Landing Facility on Merritt Island, Fl. Standing mile runs, 2.7-mile runs. Production needs some work, but fun to watch.

650s 641hp
Senna 789 hp

Senna was what, 10mph slower. even with a shit ton of down force, it has an extra 150hp.

i don't recall seeing how fast they did it in time wise, like if the senna reached that in 16 seconds, and the 650 was 19 seconds. just throwing out numbers.

At 155 mph, 1764 pounds of aerodynamically generated downforce press through the Senna’s rubber and into the tarmac.
Whereas the 650S....

Its carbon-fiber rear wing, said to be similar to that on the McLaren P1 GTR, makes for a total downforce of 484 pounds at 150 mph, can be electronically adjusted for either track or street settings, and also functions as an air brake
