Right out of the gate, Cars.com Managing Editor Joe Bruzek ran 11.10 before swinging around, lining up again, and blam — 10.88 seconds at 126 mph. Dodge assured us and we proved it: The 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody is indeed a 10-second car.
9.65 actually but what's a few tenths amongst friends. [emoji846]I've read the Demon is "supposed" to go 9.91 bone stock..... Like perfect driving conditions with a 130lb driver...
Redeye 797hp Demon 840 plus a few other things like tires and suspension for a few differences. What's the difference?
Splitter guard that should be removed by the dealer but for some unknown reason some think it's cool. [emoji849]And what is with these Dodge owners leaving that yellow thing on their bumpers?

I was answering why a Demon goes 9's with the HP difference vs the redyes. You can get a well optioned redeye way less than a 100k more like 85 even better if your a good negotiator or willing to shop around..that 840 number was on 100 octane. The 797 was on 93.
The red eye is essentially a full interior demon with a widebody kit, bigger wheels/tires and a whole bunch of suspension/brake upgrades. It's by far the best Chally available imho but damn near 100k for a new one. There's a lot of other options for that kind of money.....
car has drag radials on the back , do they come like that from factory ?
Yeah, for $100K, I'd rather have one of several other choices. Still, impressive numbers for a stock car.
For comparison, my Cobra with relatively minor mods hit 119 in the quarter. A simple blower swap would have put me at the 129 or better for less than half the money.
