oh they still exist
The industry kind of got cut off at the knees.
Smart people saw this concept and knew it was cheap to make, so they did. DUB couldnt get any money out of it so they stopped advertising them. Then it turned out that show cars dont have their wheels moving at shows, so no one could see the 5k you dropped on the LED wheels.
Turns out the bicycling community rather liked them though.
There are a lot of companies that still produce them, even walmart has a cheapy version for like 20 bucks,
