[PANDA]

Neighbor friend is looking for a car. This might be a tough search but here are the requirements.

2000+ or newer
4-door
automatic
reliable - "needs to last two years"
under 80K miles
under $5,000

I realize the milage requirement is what kills puts a hurt on this search. She seems to think milage is the only factor in reliability. I have been looking at early to mid 2000's Honda Civics and Accords.

I'd look for a Taurus, Crown Vic, or a Buick/Pontiac with a 3800. Reliable cars that lose their value like crazy!

I feel 60-80K is when most people neglect cars. It is just when original parts starts to go bad or need to be changed.

tires, brakes, tuneups, fluids etc.
