I'm getting the itch to swap the g80 in my truck to a tru-trac and swap the 3.08 gears to something different here soon.

When i have it done- what else should i do to make sure the rear end is stout enough for years to come... including if i perhaps turbo the truck down the road...

no. cuz 8 lugz and $$$$ seriously there is no reason at all to get crazy with this. my truck will never see slicks, never rock climb or offroad, and never compete as a bhahaha truck.

[MENTION=70]Smokinhot[/MENTION] has a 10bolt still and runs drag strip things and has pah and does stuff with his truck.
