It can be done, a lot of people just don't think outside the box ;) . Essentially his best bet is to go with a 12200411 PCM (LS PCM) and re-pin the connectors. He would need to repin his 5 connectors from the old PCM to the LS type 2-80 pin connectors. The terminals are the same, you just need to reassign them to the correct spots on the new connectors.

From there he can run HPTuners and we can tune it. :bigthumb:

If he has any questions he can feel free to call the shop at 847.842.8200, my cell directly at 847.239.0620 or email me at [email protected] and I can further assist him.

Just remove 1 wire at a time from the stock connectors and install it to its correct spot in the 80 pin connectors.

However, the 96+97 emissions are slightly different. So, If you wanted to keep the Evap system, you would need to install a 98-2000 Truck/Van Evap canister and Fuel tank pressure sensor. Or, Delete Evap. altogether.

I get the repin, crap. I do this for a living. I'm talking about is there a spot I can see the schematic to repin it? Fuck that, delete the codes.

How much to tune the pig? I'll be doing everything for/"with" him.
