After a disappointing day at the track a few weeks ago I decided to step up my game. I went to the track hoping for an 11.5 in the quarter and my best ET of the night was a 12.02 @ 111. I knew going in I probably needed valve springs and my taller tires but gave it my best. I think my best sixty foot time was 1.699 but it is hard to launch with any boost due to the vacuum brakes the car was converted to.
All that said, I picked up a Precision 6266 turbo, valve springs, a wideband and a power logger so I can see what the car is doing. I'm looking into a tighter convertor as well since my Vigilante has about 22% of play and won't get the power to the wheels. I'm gonna try and keep the 80lb injectors I have and make them work but we'll see.
