Nissan does CVTs better than anyone else. You'll hardly recognize it as a CVT. They had a string of problems and extended the warranty on the trans:

"2003-2010 Vehicles equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) also have a 10-year /120,000 mile CVT limited warranty extension."

thanks for that info this trans is my main concern about the car but it seems it might not be to much to worry about

The rogue we had as a rental felt silly and shaked because at a cruise speed it lugged the engine at like 1100rpms. Sport button made it ok and brought the rpms up
