I need to "borrow" a trailer with electric brakes (and 7 pin) for 1 whole minute

I installed a brake controller and it basically doesn't turn on till it's connected to a trailer....the problem is I don't have one yet. Just looking to plug it in to someone's trailer to verify its working correctly (I got it used).

Thanks truck thread peoples

you can wire up a resister to the brake circuit lead to ground.

if ya dont have a resister an old 12v solenoid or coil will put a load on it and "wake it up" as well

i know most of em if you short it to ground (use a small 10amp fuse) the controller will flash Err if its functioning
