Tires for 1/2 mile

What kind of tires are people going to be using? (actual sizes/brand etc...)
I'll most likely be on 245/40r17 on Dunlop Direzza Z2 Starspecs unless I can get my hands on some used drag radials that are like... 255/40r17.

If I did straight line more often... I'd get some brand new proxes r888's radials.

Can't wait to hear what some of the big power RWD guys are running.... 315's probably...

Out of curiosity, did anybody use slicks out there last year? How was it due to "burnout" regulations?

I run 265/45?/18 MT ET street DR's in the front 3 seasons so I'll be on those. I don't think they allowed full on slicks did they?

You'll have approximately a 50hp advantage, and I'm sure a weight advantage as well.
