you buy a car, don't sign the title or register the vehicle in your name..buy it to sell it right away..

Not sure about other states but in IL if a car has a salvage title and is fixed you need a rebuilders license and the car needs to be taken to the state to be inspected. Which really means searched for stolen parts. After that is done they give you a rebuilt title and you can plate the car.

Man, you guys should see some of the cool stuff that comes through our company.

even then Illinois can still bend you over... salvage titles suck unless its a dedicated track car...
