This. That car is parts. I bet you anything insurance totaled it out, sold it back to him for a couple hundred and he's trying to sell the hulk for some money. I don't blame him but "needs bodywork" is an understatement. I wouldn't buy that to fix.

8k for a total? The dude would be better off parting it out. Motor/trans is worth about 4-5k, rear drivetrain is another few hundred. Could probably get a couple hundred for the interior.

Oh and i'd part everything out and then sell the body/chassis to LKQ. They'd pay some money for a car they can get two good quarter panels from.
