7.3s are so badass...
2001 FORD EXCURSION - SECOND OWNER
DIESEL
99,834 MILES
VIN#: 1FMSU43F11EA71308
This truck is nice. I purchased the stock in 2004 with 78,000 miles. Do the math - that is only 5,000 miles/year. I am selling my excursion because it just sits in the garage.
Since then I have added many options:
1. GTP 38R Ball Bearing Turbo - 88 mm compared to the stock 80 mm turbo.
2. AFE Stage II Cold Air Intake
3. MBRP 4" T-409 stainless steel exhaust with 5"T-304 stainless steel tip.
4. Turbo Boost Relief Valve (set at 20 psi)
5. TS Performance Six Position Chip - Valet, 50, 75, 100 and 140+ hp.
6. Triple pillar gauges - pyrometer, boost and tranny temp.
7. Braided stainless oil pressure crossover hose.
8. Billet grille
9. Clear front turn lenses and Euro tail lights (I also kept the stock lights too).
10. Front, Second, Third Row and Cargo - Husky liner floor mats - carpet in good condition.
11. Tinted front driver and passenger windows.
12. New Motocraft batteries this past fall from Ford.
13. Vent Shades and Bug Shield has been added.
14. B&M Transmission Cooler
15. All New Brakes, Rotors, Pads and Brake Pistons at 99,000 miles
16. New Water Pump at 80,000 miles and Transmission rebuild at 99,000 miles.
Nice SUV - has not been dragged, or used as a puller truck - I am just a gear head by nature. I have only used synthetic Royal Purple motor and gear oils.
there is so much life left in that thing... and that 7.3 is such a badass mean motor.
