Need opinions on headlights

The stock headlights on my bike just aren't bright enough for my standards. I want to upgrade them, but I'm torn between HID and projectors. I'm pretty sure I've decided to get 8000k, but also have considered 6000k. If I get projectors, they will also come with halos, I was thinking blue halo to match the bike. Are halos considered rice? I think they look badass in the pics I've seen. Anyway, please give me your serious, HONEST opinion.

HID looks stock, so not gonna show pic. I do not want to lose high beam function, so I am spending extra to have hi/low on whatever kit I get.

Sorry man none of the above. I hate the ad hid to everything look, plus 90+% of these fuckers blind on coming traffic!

That's because the stock headlight reflectors are not designed for HID and spread the light too much (light cut off is very high). This is not an issue with projectors from what I've read.

8000k has just a tiny bit of blue, it's what Conrad has in hillbilly truck and Will has on bike. 6000k is pure white, the closest to natural sunlight. I believe most OEM HID are 4000k
