Can I install 03 Cobra mufflers on an 02 GT?

So there is something seriously wrong with my 02 GT's passenger side muffler. It's leaking somewhere, probably on top where I can't see and it's getting very loud. It needs to be replaced.

I still have the old catback from my 03 Cobra sitting in the garage. Would it be feasible to take the mufflers from the 03 Catback, cut off the GT's mufflers and weld in the 03 Cobra mufflers in their place?

Is this just a bad idea cost wise and way too much trouble? Should I just get a Flowmaster 50 series catback for the GT and call it a day?

Pry be faster and cheaper to get used catback

A Muffler/Brake shop would probably only charge $75-100 for cutting out the old and welding the not so old using some sleeves and new hangers.

I say do it.

Been trying to find a used 99-04 GT catback with no luck.
If you know of anyone who still has one lying around, please let me know asap.
