Am I doing this right? Never assembled a 4V before and the shop manual is kinda vague, all cams keyways are straight down and miscolored chain links are lined up with cam marks. #1 at TDC.
All so does anyone no the torque specs for the large cam end bolts? I bought a set of new ARP's but didn't come with torque #'s.

Not trying to steal your thread. Anyone know if im safe removing each one of those 4 cam girdles 1 at a time without everything going to crap on me. I need to get to the back of the cams with a mirror to get the model number off of them plus several of my lobes are microns from contacting the edges of the insides and i need to grind them out a tad more. My chains and gears are all still on. Dont want to have undo everything.
