It's rumored (or a poorly kept secret) Holden is working on a new coupe (aside from the new Camaro) based on the Commodore. It may be one or two years, but you can bet a new Monaro will emerge when the time is right.

Pontiac is likely to sell it, the bigger question is will it carry the GTO name, or simply be a G8 coupe?

If the retro Camaro is too wild for you, Pontiac will have a contemporary and sophisticated alternative.

i think they'd be wise to do the G8 coupe, and do a GTO package... but that wouldn't mesh with the GXP moniker.
