A DCT transmission finally. NICE!

No mention of HP though.

VenomousDSG 01-13-2019 03:46 PM

No official power numbers?

Mook 01-13-2019 03:46 PM

Was a bit surprised to not see that but maybe Ford anticipated this spec sheet being leaked so they held back numbers for the official reveal.
@Bru?

Sweet , I like it . Supercharged 5.2 with DCT transmission FTW

willizm 01-13-2019 04:30 PM

The Mustang got a DCT before the Corvette. Good going GM.

BADAZZTEALCOBRA 01-13-2019 05:10 PM

Hate being broke.

Thirdgen89GTA 01-13-2019 05:12 PM

So its probably the TR-9007 DCT transmission.

http://www.tremec.com/anexos/TREMEC_DCT_0318.pdf

And if they used stock Tremec gearing it would be:
1st: 3.14
2nd: 2.05
3rd: 1.43
4th: 1.10
5th: .86
6th: .68
7th: .56
Rev: 2.76

Maximum torque rating = 664lb/ft.

I figured they were just using the upped displacement, but a regular crank.

BADAZZTEALCOBRA 01-13-2019 06:22 PM

5.2 cross plane versus the 5.2 flat plane in the gt350.

Ryan02Stang 01-13-2019 07:04 PM
