I totally got pranked at work today. It was a good one. I have an ex that I've been on and off with for like 6 years. We stopped seeing each other last Friday because I wouldn't committ to a serious relationship (for the 3rd time). So my co-workers arranged to have a Mrs Field's cookie delivered to my desk. It said "Happy Birthday XOXO Luv (insert ex name)". I started freaking out because I thought she had sent it. I though it was some psycho shit or she had it arranged before we split off again last Friday. It was a great joke and they totally had me going. I was going to have to call her tonight and thank her. I'm so glad they told me it was them...that would have been an awkward conversation.

Ah. Got it. Is punctuation no longer cool? I know this is the internets and everything, but sometimes I have no idea what people here are saying. Damn I'm getting old.

But to respond to your 'forget about it', it happens when she and I have both been single for a while and we sort of hook up. It starts as just comfort sex and then she gets all attached and then asks me if we're getting serious. The last two times I was very upfront with her, but I think she just thinks that one of these times I'm just going to cave in and have babies with her. I wish she would find someone because then she wouldn't keep coming back to this asshole that just wants to have fun.
