My aunt and Uncle have a Intrigue with a 3800 and last week, the starter broke - actually snapped the head off the gear. The mechanic said he put a breaker bar on the crank and can't turn it...
Now they had a shop replace the starter and it'll barely stay running after it starts...
Sound like a spun bearing/engine about to seize?
I have not seen this car in person, but my pop's is helping them and asking me questions via email...
