Chain can be done in the car, so thank your happy stars. I think this is just a "solution" to not having a 1" chain. I don't think it's an actual 1" chain. My ASSumption is it's a treated 7/8's chain or something like that? Maybe a reworked 4T80 chain?

A couple fiero guys used cryo'd 7/8ths chains making big power and they lasted longer than regular 7/8ths at those power levels, this was fiero vs fiero, not fiero vs gp cause I know they are lighter

no clue on their solution, but its probably some gearset out of a random car someone stumbled upon

I don't mean to sound ignorant but looking at all kinds of parts and junk for these cars I can usually kind of see why stuff costs what it does but this is one of the things I obviously don't understand well enough. Why does it cost so much to manufacture a big chain and a couple spockets that can hold power?
